The Role: 

• 
  

  Manage your own portfolio of tax and compliance clients 

  
  

• 
  

  Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns and BAS/IAS 

  
  

• 
  

  Provide tax planning and advisory support to clients 

  
  

• 
  

  Supervise and support junior accountants in their development and work output 

  
  

• 
  

  Review work prepared by junior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance 

  
  

• 
  

  Liaise directly with clients across a range of industries 

  
  

• 
  

  Contribute to process improvement and workflow efficiency 

  
  

• 
  

  Collaborate with internal teams (including offshore support where applicable) 

  
  

• 
  

  Ensure compliance with Australian tax legislation and accounting standards 

  
  

About You: 

• 
  

  3+ years’ experience in Australian public practice 

  
  

• 
  

  Experience managing client portfolios and reviewing work 

  
  

• 
  

  Strong technical knowledge of tax, compliance and accounting standards 

  
  

• 
  

  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 

  
  

• 
  

  CA/CPA qualified or near completion 

  
  

• 
  

  Experience with Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks 

  
  

• 
  

  Strong communication and client relationship skills 

  
  

• 
  

  Ability to supervise or mentor junior staff 

  
  

• 
  

  Organised, detail-focused and proactive approach to work
