Job Description - Senior Tech Officer E&I

The Opportunity

At APA, our purpose is simple: to strengthen communities through responsible energy.

We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior E&I Technician to join us in our Operations and Maintenance team in Warrnambool Victoria Australia on a Permanent Fulltime basis.

Reporting to the Regional Manager Vic Ops West, you will play a key role in providing support services; leading a team; delivering maintenance on key equipment relating to the gas industry. Work on Gas Turbines, Water Bath Heaters, Gas Measurement and various other works relating to the gas industry. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance on Gas Pipeline equipment
  • Calibration of start of the art equipment
  • Updating HA registers Ex-online
  • Updating Maintenance activities on Maximo
  • Working across different teams

Your background

  • Gas Industry Experience Prefered
  • E&I experience
  • Working across different teams
  • Australian or equal trade cert.

The Vic Ops Western team comprises varying Mechanical and E&I resources which are focused on delivering a reliable network of gas transmission assets across Victoria’s west and into the South Australian gas system. We are focused on providing innovative and progressive technology enabling APA to be world class in delivering energy solutions.
