The Role - Senior Technical BA - Cloud Migration
As a Senior Technical Business Analyst within our Cloud Migration practice, you will be the bridge between the application owners and our migration delivery teams. You will be responsible for working with both groups to facilitate technical readiness of application workloads migrating to cloud native platforms (EKS/AWS).
You'll work closely with Product Owners, Cloud Architects, DevOps Engineers, Security Teams, and Application owners to define project scope, analyse requirements and facilitate the delivery of robust and scalable AWS infrastructure solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Cloud Platform Experience (AWS/Azure/GCP): Demonstrated experience working with any major cloud platform, with a foundational understanding of core cloud services and migration concepts.
- Discovery Tooling: Experience using automated discovery and profiling tools to interpret technical debt and application architecture.
- Migration Methodology: Deep experience in being involved in running Migration and Modernisation programs in large -scale cloud migrations
- Relationship Building: Ability to quickly build trust and foster positive, influential relationships with client stakeholders, internal teams and partner stakeholders, leading these relationships where appropriate.
- Facilitation skills: Capable of guiding diverse teams (technical, business, leadership) to consensus on scope, design, and implementation decisions for AWS projects.
- Communication Skills: Ability to deliver clear, well -structured, and concise arguments to support opinions and recommendations.
Highly Desirable:
- Familiarity with core AWS services.
- Background in Financial Services or highly regulated environments.
- Australian Government security clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2)
