NSW - ParramattaWe are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Transmission Engineer for planning, design, deployment, and delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end transmission engineering activities, site build and installation coordination, Engineering Order preparation, Permit to Work (PTW) management, and overall project delivery. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and stakeholder management skills to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

​Transmission Engineering & Design

• Develop and review transmission network designs for wireless and fixed network deployments.
• Prepare and validate transmission solutions, including microwave, fibre transport integration.
• Ensure compliance with customer standards, engineering guidelines, and quality requirements.
• Support network capacity planning and optimization activities.

Installation & Build Management

• Lead site installation and commissioning activities for telecommunications equipment for MW build.
• Coordinate and drive backhaul upgrades performed by third parties to meet forecast schedule
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful site deployment.
• Manage site build activities, equipment integration, and acceptance processes.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Prepare, review, Engineering Orders (EO), Method of Procedures (MOP), and associated technical documentation.
• Maintain accurate project records, as-built documentation, and change management processes.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Manage Permit to Work (PTW) processes and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and hazards.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to company and client HSE standards.

Project Management

• Support multiple deployment projects from initiation through completion.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with customers, internal stakeholders, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide regular progress reports and proactively resolve project issues and risks.
