To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Senior Wellfield Production Technician (CSU) to join our team.

The Role: Reporting to the Wellfield Production Supervisor, purpose of the role is to be responsible for the execution of commissioning function tests and start-up activities on new Wellfield assets. The role will provide guidance to the Contractor workforce and support to the CSU Supervisor. Given the nature of the work, a significant portion of the role’s work is field based.

In addition, you will:

• Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.

• Ensure wellfield assets are reliably constructed and safe for operation by identifying defects using Arrow Energy’s standards


• Lead technical fault finding actvities, solving complex technical problems by engaging with equipment vendors/OEMs as required


• Verify commissioning procedures and directing complex high risk work activities, such as first introduction of hydrocarbons during gas gathering purging activities


• Approved Permit Holder and Permit Authority, ensuring workgroups adhere to prescribed Permit to Work and safe isolation practices, including developing emergency response contingency plans.


• Ensure a competent contract resource base by providing training and coaching, demonstrating visible safety leadership and standing in as the CSU Supervisor to provide coverage as required.

About You

You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have: 

• Relevant mechanical trade qualifications or equivalent experience to demonstrate technical aptitude


• previous operational experience working in heavy industry, ideally within oil and gas and within a commissioning environment


• Open driver’s license (Manual)


• Light Vehicle Operations RIIVEH305 or PMASUP236


• RIIHAN309F Conduct Telescopic Materials Handler Operations


• Gas Test Atmosphere MSMWHS217 or equivalent


• Confined Space – MSMPER205 or RIIWHS202D


• Current First Aid certificate


• Demonstarted knowledge and experience with remote SCADA systems
