Our client is a premier leader in Brisbane’s Building Services consulting sector, they are thrilled to announce a raft of new projects for the pipeline and have secured a major new $1b health project through to design development stage, multiple Greenstar rated galleries across QLD and exciting upcoming work for the Brisbane 2032 Olympics.

Having done limited recruitment in the last few years and maintaining a stable core team they are now looking to expand the team strategically with a number of positions available across levels and disciplines.

We are seeking a Senior and/or Associate level Mechanical Building Services Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design of mechanical/ HVAC building engineering services
• Site inspections and survey for the purposes of reports or project works
• Preparation of engineering drawings and documents to meet project timelines
• Preparation of technical specifications and contract documents
• Preparation of concept level design
• Preparation of technical specifications and contract documents
• Seek and promote ESD and innovation in all aspects of your work
• Coordination of design with other engineers and appreciation of other services disciplines
• Assist with fee proposals and marketing where required
• Mentor junior staff
• Assistance with developing the office and engineering standards and maintaining best practices
• Keep abreast of latest trends/requirements
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor Mechanical Engineering, CPEng and RPEQ (Or eligible)
• Health/Hospital experience would be highly advantageous. Any building services design experience to support newest medical technologies and treatments would be a benefit.
• Extensive knowledge of local codes, standards and regulations
• At least 7 years in a similar role experience and skills on your level of entry Senior/Associate. Uncapped ability to grow your career to any level you desire.
