Senior/Principal Coastal Engineer - Consulting - Competitive Pay

My client has an amazing reputation in Australia and the Pacific through the delivery of genuinely exciting coastal projects. With a rapidly growing client base and project pipeline stretching well into the future, the need has arisen for a Senior or Principal Coastal
Engineer to join their specialist team.

With offices scattered up and down the Eastern Seaboard, and projects in other states, demand for their services continues to grow. Reporting to the General Manager, this key role will play an integral part in continued growth of the brand.

Duties required:

• Plan, undertake and coastal engineering and coastal management projects
• Produce high-quality technical reports and documentation
• Manage and deliver projects to budget and expected quality
• Checking and reviewing others work as required
• Client liaison
• Prepare winning proposals and actively participate in business development and market broadening.

Skills and requirements:

• Several years of relevant professional experience, preferably within a
        consulting environment and leading a team (or have leadership potential)
• Experience in delivery of coastland and estuarine projects including
        designs, management plans, risk assessments and related
        investigations, numerical modelling, coastal/ estuarine monitoring
• Proven experience in data science, the use of numerical models and GIS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including technical
        report writing
