Job Description - Service Coordinator

We want someone who genuinely wants to make a difference and is passionate about Service Management and their colleagues in the field. You will need to know that anything is possible and have a confident and positive outlook. Importantly, you must thrive in a diverse and inclusive environment.

This position will suit someone with several years of service coordination and planning experience and who knows that service coordination involves the ability to occasionally deal with situations that may seem chaotic at times. You will require excellent interpersonal, time management and communication skills.

Requirements

Our State Service Coordinators are an intrinsic part of the O’Brien business and arguably have the most contact with our clients and staff. They are the face of our business and play an important part in our collective success. Some of the duties include:

  • Scheduling, Planning and Coordination jobs.
  • Safety, ensure appropriate standards are applied.
  • Assist with toolbox meetings.
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and team members.
  • Preparation of quotations, agreements, and invoices.
  • Ordering and receipting of parts, including stock management
  • Reporting

You will participate and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and rapid response capability.
