This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Family Support team to assist in the implementation and evaluation of family support initiatives, including two federally funded pilot programs to support the health and well-being of people impacted by family, domestic and sexual violence and/or child sexual abuse (FDSV and CSA). This is a full time fixed term role to 30 June 2026.

Requirements of the role
The Service Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating commissioned Family Support services including developing and managing contracts for our commissioned providers, monitoring their performance and service budgets as well as identifying and responding to risk and issues (including critical incidents) in alignment with service priorities.
Previous experience in commissioning services and contract management is desirable but not essential, as the successful candidate will be supported to build their knowledge and capability in this area.
An interest in using data to drive program improvements that enhance the health and wellbeing of the Brisbane south community is desirable.
The Family Support team highly values a collaborative, partnership approach within our team as well as with our key partners, which include the primary health care and FDSV sectors, those with lived experience of FDSV, PHNs involved in the FDSV pilots and other key local, state and national partners. The successful candidate therefore needs to be able to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and a wide variety of service providers and partners.
Previous experience in the primary health care or family, domestic and/or sexual violence sectors is not a requirement, however an interest in improving outcomes for those impacted by FDSV and developing your knowledge and understanding of these sectors is essential.
