About the Role 

Macmahon Underground is growing and expanding its footprint across Australia’s East Coast, creating exciting opportunities for experienced Service Crew Operators to join our team.

This role is integral to our underground mining operations and is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of essential underground services. We are seeking safety-focused individuals who are committed to maintaining high operational standards, supporting production activities, and contributing to a strong team culture.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot underground infrastructure, including ventilation, water and air services


• Complete pre-start inspections, report hazards or defects, and follow site plans, instructions and traffic management procedures


• Contribute to our people-first culture and live our Winning Values


• Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture

What You’ll Bring 

• Minimum 12 months’ underground mining experience in a Service Crew role


• Ability to work independently and within a team


• Valid manual (C class) Australian drivers licence (essential)


• Valid Working at Heights Certificate (essential)


• State relevant Dangerous Goods Security Card/Licence is highly desirable
