Ozcare's home care assistance supports our clients to live independently and safely in their own homes for as long as they can. Ozcare's team of carers, nurses, dementia advisors, allied health professionals and case managers work together to support our clients with a wide range of services delivered in their home or in the community, funded through various Commonwealth and State funded programmes.
Your Role
Based in our Mackay office and reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day to day management and delivery of health programs and support services by Assistant Co-ordinators, Care Assistants and In Home Support Workers to clients in their own homes. You will be responsible for coaching support to employees with the goal of fostering an organisation which promotes employee engagement, dynamic communication and service integration.
Your main responsibilities include:
Provide leadership and coaching support to employees and volunteers, with the goal of fostering an organisation which promotes employee engagement, dynamic communication, and service integration.Coordinate and manage services delivery with a holistic approach, in an effective and efficient manner to achieve high, levels of client satisfaction.Monitor the evaluation of service provision through planned reviews and regular needs assessment involving employees, clients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams as appropriate.In consultation with the Branch Manager, ensure client services are provided in an environment of continuous quality improvement reablement focused care, support and innovation.Support Branch Manager's monthly review with the Business Operations Manager of Branch Operations, ensuring ongoing operational viability.Promote Ozcare's services within the community to achieve growth of Ozcare's services locally. Tertiary Qualifications and/or demonstrated extensive management experience preferably in a community service/health organisationWell developed understanding of financial managementStrong understanding of the Community Care industry and the operational requirements of a Community Care BranchIntermediate to advanced computer skillsCurrent Queensland Driver's LicenseFirst aid and CPR certificate required within one month of commencementProof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough)Vaccination against Influenza and Covid-19 is strongly recommendedCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card (Working with Children Check)Current National Police Check, prior to commencementQualify as Key Personnel
