The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Service Delivery Manager to join our growing Melbourne Team on a full-time basis, Reporting to the Melbourne Manager.

Ability to operate autonomously as needed and think on your feet to solve problems and find solutions is something you enjoy and are comfortable with. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Take ownership of a client portfolio and work with clients in the commercial, health, retail, government and education sectors across service, repairs, projects.
  • Solving problems and delivering effective solutions to clients.    
  • Prepare and communicate clear work directives for tradespeople and apprentices on-site. 
  • Assist in allocating labour and scheduling.
  • Building productive and sound relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Business development activities as part of growing our client base across existing and or prospective clients’ network, organisation, departments, etc.   
  • Ability to generate, scope out and quote works for new and existing clients.
  • A combination of regular site visits and meetings with clients as well as Melbourne office attendance which is encouraged for collaboration.  
  • Managing electrical maintenance, repairs, minor projects, lighting installations, UPS and battery installs, EV charging, solar, switchboard installations, data works, across various facilities within government, commercial, health, retail, education, DC’s and critical infrastructure.    
  • Maintain a high level of commitment to safety and undertake audits and drive a proactive safety culture. 
  • Mentoring and training of tradespeople and apprentices.
  • Presenting and communicating to clients, team, and management.
  • Complete reports, quotes and attend client meetings in line with contractual requirements.
  • Read, understand, and comply with client contracts and KPI’s.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • 5 plus years’ experience across any of the following roles Service Delivery Manager, Account Manager, Contract Manager, Service Manager, Client Relationship Manager. 
  • Experience project managing minor projects.
  • Experience in managing a team of tradespeople and apprentices. 
  • Must have a valid Victorian A Grade electrical, data, open cabling, and driver’s licence. 
  • Sound working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000:2018.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment. 
  • High attention to detail and organisation skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and find solutions. 
  • Ability to read and interpolate electrical drawing packages.
  • Capable of maintaining your cool under pressure.
  • Ability to provide clear and concise directives to electricians and apprentices.
  • Ability to manage team productivity and find efficient methods of work delivery and installations.
  • Experience in using Microsoft applications such as email, word, excel, Teams and app-based systems.
  • Exposure to job management systems beneficial.
  • Experience in labour allocation and scheduling.
