The role:
This is a 6-month initial contract to manage the ongoing service delivery of a highly successful operation. With a detailed hand over and support of the senior leadership team you will be given all the guidance and tools to provide a seamless delivery of technology services to the business.
Responsibilities: - Maintain IT service delivery policies and procedures, ensuring systems, procedures, and methodologies.
- Manage vendor service delivery, ensuring effective SLAs are in place and agreements are met.
- Monitor and report on SLMs and SLAs to ensure compliance and rectify breaches as needed.
- Review vendor support agreements to align with business priorities and recommend cost optimisation solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships, communicate regularly, and assist with contract negotiation.
- Oversee escalation of issues to the Head of IT and handle ad-hoc billing and purchasing of IT services and equipment.
- Assist with financial approval for IT equipment, suppliers, and service requests.
- Educate end users about IT awareness and facilitate communication channels.
Background: - Background in enterprise IT and service desk environments with a focus on end-user outcomes.
- Experience as a Service Delivery Manager in medium-sized enterprises.
- Proficiency in managing vendor relationships. Manage managed service agreements driving outcomes.
- Working knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., O365, Entra) and Windows device fleet management.
- Familiarity with procurement systems/processes
- Experience with fleet management, network management systems (e.g., Cisco Meraki), and IT service desk tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- ITIL certification (V3 or V4) and a degree in IT or related field.
