About the Role

We have an outstanding opportunity for a Pest Control and Hygiene Service Manager to join our team. While you will be based out of our new office, the role is primarily remote based as you will be supporting our Pest and Hygiene technicians throughout Queensland. We currently have five technicians based in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Townsville, and expanding rapidly. 

This role will require someone that is able to utilise their extensive experience in the pest control and hygiene industry to support and encourage our technicians to ensure we maintain the highest customer service, quality and safety standards. 

While you will be a support on the ground helping to troubleshoot problems and provide daily mentoring to the team, you will also be expected to perform pest control and hygiene services when necessary (for example, to cover periods of leave). Periodic travel throughout Queensland is therefore a requirement of the role. You will also support our business development and marketing initiatives by assisting with inbound sales enquiries for Queensland.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• mentor, train and supervise a team of dedicated pest control and hygiene technicians
• assist in recruitment of technicians as we continue to grow
• promote a standard of exceptional customer experience for all termite, residential and commercial clients
• inspecting client's premises thoroughly
• assist with identifying sales leads for the area
• be a team player and have a great attention to detail
• develop and maintain long term customer relationships
• provide a first-class customer experience

To ensure your success, you must have:

• current Queensland Pest Control Licence
• current Termite accreditation
• experience supervising staff (either directly or indirectly)
• the ability to work unsupervised and meet set workload
• a preference for varied workload, being on the road, and meeting different people every day in all types of situations
• willingness to travel throughout Queensland when required 
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• a valid driver’s licence
• vaccinated against COVID-19 as it is a client requirement 
• intermediate Excel and Word knowledge
• exceptional customer service skills.
