We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Service Sales Technician to join our team based in Clayton, VIC.

To stay connected to our products and customer operations, you’ll also provide hands-on support to the field service team assisting with installations, repairs and site work as needed. This balance allows you to better understand customer challenges and confidently offer practical, value driven solutions.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Proactively identify, pursue and secure new service opportunities including repairs, upgrades, field service and maintenance agreements; develop long-term relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
• Grow our customer base through outreach and collaboration with the wider sales team; promote the value of our in-house service capabilities and redirect third-party work back to our internal workshop.
• Prepare and follow up on compelling service proposals, working closely with engineering, workshop and technical teams to ensure deliverable, cost-effective solutions.
• Provide field-based support including diagnostics, installations and repairs as needed; assist technicians on complex or high-volume jobs to ensure quality service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales and service activities; update pipeline forecasts and service reports to ensure smooth handover from sale to execution.
• Act as a key link between customers, service technicians, engineering, and sales teams to ensure alignment, timely communication and service excellence.

Position Requirements:

• Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
• Experience in technical sales within an industrial or service-based environment
• Hands-on knowledge of hydraulic systems and components (trade qualification preferred)
• Comfortable working both independently in the field and collaboratively with internal teams
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach
• Familiarity with CRM systems and service reporting tools is an advantage
• Valid driver’s licence and flexibility to travel within Victoria
