About the Role

Due to unprecedented demand, PremiAir has a full-time, permanent position available with an immediate start for a committed, reliable, and flexible Service Technician/Mechanic with experience in the equipment rental industry, to join our busy State-of-the-Art facility located in Adelaide (Kilburn).

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the main responsibility of the role is to service and maintain light towers, Variable Message Boards (VMS) & Portable Traffic Lights.

Duties

• Repair and maintenance of hire equipment to PremiAir and OEM standards.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing on equipment both in the workshop and on customer sites.
• Other appropriate duties as required/directed

Skills and Experience

You must possess a strong sense of urgency with an "I will make it happen" attitude to get the job done. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Strong mechanical, fault finding and problem-solving skills
• Can work unsupervised and listen and follow instructions
• Has a strong team mind-set and a willingness to learn new products
• Can work a reasonable amount overtime, if/when required and be a part of our on-call roster - 1 in 4 weeks when competent 
• Is reliable, punctual with excellent work ethics
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Current and valid drivers’ licence
• Construction Induction (White Card) 

Previous experience and success in a similar role will be highly regarded, however, the successful applicants will be appointed primarily based on attitude and the desire to assist the business in the next phase of growth.
