Macmahon Maintenance Masters is Macmahon’s internal labour support division, providing support to Macmahon's surface and underground mining operations. The team is composed of experienced tradespeople and is suited to someone who is technically experienced, confident in their abilities and excited by the prospect of a new challenge every day.

About the Role 
We are looking for a Service Person to join the team! You’ll perform routine maintenance, inspections, servicing, and fuelling of mining equipment to ensure it operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with site standards across our Mt Carlton Project. You’ll work alongside experienced teammates who share knowledge and support each other to get the job done safely and efficiently. 

Role Details and Benefits 

• Location: Mt Carlton - Gold Mine – Located near Townsville and Bowen, QLD


• Roster: 7:7 DIDO 


• Rate: Up to $67 per hour (temp to perm)

 Responsibilities  

• Assisting to service and maintain all mobile plant


• Refilling fuel, oil and waters tanks on machinery 


• Machinery operations and restocking 


• Carrying out additional site duties to support overall mining operations 


• Speak-up and contribute to our culture; everyone home safe, every swing 

 What You’ll Bring 

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within mine site environment 


• Have a fitting background and mechanically minded


• Ability to work as part of a team and step up when needed 


• Commitment to safe work practices and job quality 


• Demonstrated ability to provide strong leadership and drive continuous improvement. 


• Proven commitment to safety 


• Current Heavy Rigid (HR) Class Drivers Licence is required.to be able to operate the service truck, which is a road registered vehicle
