You will be a great communicator with an eye for detail that enjoys working in a team environment servicing customers across the Australian grain supply chain. 

About the business

Clear Grain Exchange (CGX) is an independent online exchange enabling buyers, sellers and their agents to bid or offer grain in an open and transparent market with secure settlement.

Our aim is to improve farm gate returns by creating a more efficient market where all supply chain participants benefit.

About the role

• Drive growth, improvement and continued excellence in our expanding settlement and clearing services
• Work closely with the market operations and business development team 
• Be responsible for auditing and settlement of trades executed on the exchange
• Administer the Clear Settle service available to industry for any grain contract
• Conduct account reconciliation, analysis and payments to third parties
• Prepare internal and external stakeholder reporting
• Identify and develop new customers
• Contribute to other adhoc admin, finance and business support related tasks

Skills and experience

Most important is to have a proactive and upfront attitude with a strong work ethic who is keen to play their part in a team.

• Requires exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Excel, Xero and Confluence is desirable
• Demonstrates an innovative approach to improve tasks
• Would suit an enthusiastic person looking to contribute to the betterment of the Australian grain industry
• May have worked in the Australian grain industry with experience in grain trade and contracts support
