We are currently looking for a strong Microsoft SharePoint Developer for a 6 month contract in Sydney. You will become a key player in our forward-thinking technology team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world business challenges. You will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable SharePoint solutions that are critical to enhancing our internal communication, collaboration, and efficiency. The ideal candidate for this position is a versatile and self-motivated professional with a deep technical expertise across both classic and modern SharePoint environments. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, innovative solutions that are not only technically sound but also intuitive and user-friendly. You should be adept at working with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into elegant, functional designs. Your ability to think strategically about our SharePoint environment, combined with a meticulous approach to development, will be crucial for the continued success of our digital initiatives.

This would be for a 6 month contract with one of our clients in Sydney

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement custom SharePoint solutions, including web parts, workflows, forms, and applications, using modern and classic development techniques.

• Work with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and a clear project roadmap.

• Develop solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for SharePoint Online to create responsive and modern user interfaces.

• Maintain and support existing SharePoint environments (on-premises and Online), ensuring optimal performance and security.

• Integrate SharePoint with other business systems and third-party applications using APIs.

• Utilize and configure Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to extend SharePoint functionality.

• Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure the stability of solutions.

• Stay current with the latest SharePoint and Microsoft 365 developments and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a SharePoint Developer, with a strong portfolio of implemented solutions.

• Proficiency in developing with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server (2016/2019).

• Solid knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx), including experience with React or another modern JavaScript framework.

• Expertise in web development languages and technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and REST APIs.

• Experience with C#, ASP.NET, and the SharePoint app model.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
