Shift Supervisor / Mechanic - Professional Development Opportunities

We are seeking to add experience and expertise to our current team with a Shift Supervisor able to work on the floor and guide / direct work across the floor.

This role will entail:

• Monday to Friday day shift - inc. opening the workshop each day
• Distribute out tasks for the shift commencement
• Work with the Workshop Manager in work prioritisation
• Guide and mentor Trade Assistants / apprentice in tasks as needed.
• Cross check work standards and completeness before release of vehicle.
• Rotational support for weekend Overtime (where needed)
• Fleet Maintenance on a variety of Makes, Models of Heavy Vehicles (including Mack, Kenworth, Isuzu, DAF, Hino)
• General Trailer Maintenance

You must be able to demonstrate safe work practices and be confident to work in a team and independently (depending on the task)

Qualifications required for this role:

• Trade Qualified in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic / Diesel Fitter
• HR or HC truck license preferred
• Forklift HRW licence preferred
