About the Role

As a Shotcrete Operator, you'll play a critical role in supporting safe and productive underground mining operations. 

• Safely and efficiently operate underground shotcrete equipment to deliver high-quality primary ground support in accordance with site specifications and quality standards.
• Complete all assigned tasks in line with supervisor direction, maintaining a strong focus on safety, productivity, and operational excellence.
• Maintain shotcrete equipment, the batch plant, and surrounding work areas to a high standard, reporting defects or mechanical issues promptly and ensuring equipment is cleaned and service-ready.
• Accurately complete all required operational, production, and safety documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Actively participate in pre-starts, toolbox talks, shift handovers, roster change meetings, and other safety initiatives to promote a strong safety culture and effective team communication.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for operators who take pride in their work and share our commitment to safety.

You'll have:

• Operating our Normet Spraymec or Jacon Maxijet spray rigs
• Previous experience as a Shotcrete Operator
• Previous experience with the operation of Sandvick, Normet and Jacon Maxijet shotcreting machinery.
• Experience with operating heavy earthmoving equipment, excavators etc will be considered.
• Underground mining experience (desirable)
• Good organisation and time management skills
• Valid manual driver's license
• Ability to obtain a National Police Certificate 
• A work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto Consider it done — safely.
