About the role

The Shutdown C&I Coordinator is a pivotal role embedded within the a major Oil and Gas Shutdown Planning Team, contributing to the successful execution of the 2025 turnaround event. This role involves comprehensive planning, coordination, estimation, and work package creation for Coating and Insulation scopes during the shutdown event. From pre-shutdown to post-shutdown stages, the Coordinator ensures seamless coordination between various teams and stakeholders, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and adherence to milestones. 

This role is predominately Perth based, however, site travel will be required both periodically for pre and post turnaround activities as well as the full duration of the turnaround. 

Your day-today responsibilities to include;

• Meet Shutdown Management Plan (SDMP) /staging plan milestones (as required)
• Engage and coordinate with contractors supporting Coating and Insulation(C&I) activities during the Shutdown
• Review high level job plans during development and provide input into resource estimates
• Create Work Plan and Work Packages
• Ensure all C&I activities are executed safely and efficiently
• Coordinate C&I movements based on priority and schedule demands
• Complete Post Turnaround (TAR) start up Punchlist items and clean up
• Identify Lessons Learned for Turnaround and Communicate
• Provide input into assessment of contractor performances.

About you

• 10+ years’ experience, within the Coating & Insulation industry is desirable
• Strong insulation knowledge and experience is highly desirable given anticipated volume of insulation scope within the shutdown even
• Prior LNG experience including shutdowns on LNG sites is highly desirable
• Proven coordination and/or leadership experience in a similar role is highly desirable
• Operational experience with the scope execution management
• Experience and proficiency in utilising SAP is highly desirable
• Experience with modelling software such as Navis Works is desirable
• Proficiency in reading piping isometric and P&ID drawings is required.
