Job Description - Siebel Business Analyst

Our Federal Government Client is looking for Siebel Business Analysts .

The Specified Personnel will be responsible for providing the following deliverables including but not limited to:

  • Assisting with strategic planning, mapping and modelling development;
  • Working with multiple stakeholder groups with different needs, views and competing priorities;
  • Leading a gap-analysis to determine whether any of the existing capabilities held within the Department can meet the requirements for a future visualisation capability;
  • With business stakeholders, prioritising each business requirement according to its merits of enhancing business efficacy;
  • In consultation with business and ICT stakeholders, developing innovative solutions to identified business challenges;
  • Gathering requirements, preparing user cases, processing workflows and diagrams;
  • Creating functional and technical documents to define Interface between Siebel Application and external applications;
  • Assisting in creating the interface between Siebel and external applications using Siebel Applications and Siebel Configuration tools;
  • Supporting the development of effective working relationships with stakeholders and including qualities such as ethics, trustworthiness and personal organisation;
  • Working in and across teams for varying duration to achieve the identified work area outcomes - this may require team leadership and/or technical leadership skills;
  • Organising, facilitating and co-facilitating workshops to extract business requirements and defining new or improved business processes;
  • Defining and documenting new business practices and processes in a consistent and easily understood manner and facilitating the agreement and sign-off of these with appropriate stakeholders;
  • Assisting with reporting and demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the report development lifecycle;
  • Developing positive team ethos within the immediate workgroup through positive participation and communication.

Mandatory:

  • 6 years of Siebel experience in implementing multiple full life cycle Siebel implementations.
  • Minimum 5+ demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience in creating Siebel design documents.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to express complex business concepts in technical terms.
  • Strong knowledge of full requirement analysis for business process.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Desirable:

  • Experience working in large government organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience running stakeholder workshops
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong ability to manage competing priorities, with a strong sense of accountability and urgency

The role has an initial contract to 30 June 2024 with two (2) possible 12-month contract extension options. It is the Client's preference for the work to be done on site at their office in Canberra but are open to discuss flexible working arrangements which still requires the contractor to be on-site in Canberra at a minimum of 3 days per week.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens who can obtain Federal Government Security Clearances.
