Site Coordinator - Growth-Minded Organization

Pensar Infrastructure is seeking a highly motivated and organised Site Coordinator to join our team in Newcastle. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

About the Role:

As a Site Coordinator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

• Safety: Overseeing all aspects of site safety, including developing and implementing safety plans, conducting risk assessments, managing SWMS, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Environment: Developing and implementing environmental management plans, managing fire ant procedures, and ensuring responsible waste management practices.
• Quality: Developing and maintaining quality plans, conducting daily inspections, managing ITPs, and ensuring all work meets project specifications.
• Client Engagement: Maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing any concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Financial Management: Monitoring project costs, managing subcontractors, processing invoices, and preparing financial reports.
• Administration: Preparing and maintaining site documentation, managing contracts and variations, and conducting site meetings.
• Planning and Scheduling: Developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring materials and equipment are ordered on time, and keeping the site running smoothly.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in construction site coordination
• Strong understanding of WHS legislation and best practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• A valid Open Driver's Licence (Manual preferred)
• A minimum of a Certificate in Construction Site Management or similar qualification (Tertiary qualification preferred)
• Construction White Card, Senior First Aid, and Working at Heights certificates (other qualifications as listed a plus)
