Site Engineer (FIFO) - Civil/Geotechnical

The Role

Knight Piesold's head office in Australia is in Perth, Western Australia. Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming work we are looking for a number of Site Engineers to complete our site-based team for projects in both WA and internationally.

The Site Engineer is responsible for:

• Overseeing and managing the construction of tailings dams on site; 
• Quality control and assurance, including soil / laboratory testing; and 
• Supporting the successful implementation and delivery of project scope.

Our Ideal Candidate

The successful candidates will ideally have:

• Degree qualification in Engineering with either Geotechnical or Civil specialisations;
• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience within the mining industry and experience with earth fill dam construction would be advantageous;
• A strong understanding of earthworks QA/QC requirements;
• Excellent communication and reporting skills;
• A proven track record on site project management and client liaison and able to demonstrate ability to maintain relationships with stakeholders; and
• A commitment to travel internationally;
