About the Role

Due to our continued growth/success, we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Site Engineer - Mechanical to join our project team.

• Prepare design briefs and the design reports that address specific clients and stakeholder requirements and specifications.
• Preparation of comprehensive design documentation, specifications and other project documents.
• Review and ensure the documents prepared meets the quality standard requirements.
• Carry out site inspections and assessments as required.
• Carry out research and identify appropriate technologies/techniques/designs that can be incorporated in the project design.
• Carry out technical reviews as per project requirements.
• Assist the project team and logistics division in procurement of mechanical machineries and equipment.
• Estimating material costs and machine requirements and maintenance of machines and plant.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following; 

• Tertiary qualification(s) in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is desired.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the Engineering design Industry.
• A positive attitude and willingness to encourage co-workers.
• Understand safety procedures and recognize hazards.
