Site Manager - Joinery

Lead a high-performing site team delivering commercial and shopfitting joinery projects, taking ownership of on-site coordination, quality and day-to-day site operations.

Evolve Talent is currently seeking an experienced Site Foreperson for a reputable commercial joinery and shopfitting company based in Sydney.

Position Details:

Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Standard site hours (with flexibility depending on project requirements)
Employment Type: Permanent, Salary

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily on-site operations across multiple commercial and retail fit-out projects
• Lead, mentor and supervise trades staff, installers, and subcontractors
• Maintain high-quality finishes across all joinery and fit-out installations
• Liaise with project managers, clients, builders, and other trades on-site
• Interpret and implement architectural drawings, shop drawings, and site plans
• Enforce WHS compliance and ensure safe work practices on-site
• Troubleshoot site issues and provide practical solutions to keep projects moving
• Remain hands-on where required to support installation and site delivery

Candidate Requirements:

• Trade qualification in Cabinet Making / Joinery or similar
• 8-10+ years' experience in commercial joinery or shopfitting
• Proven experience as a Site manager, Supervisor, or Leading Hand
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Hands-on, solutions-focused approach with high attention to detail
