Job Description - Small Engine Mechanic

We have opportunities at our Toowoomba Branch for a Small Engine Mechanic. A varied role that will see you working on a range of equipment across John Deere Turf equipment.

This workshop role will entail from general service and repairs to major overhauls and new machine assembly.

You will get the opportunity to work on:

Commercial mowing equipment

Company utility tractors

Standalone engines

Residential ride-on mowers and Zero-Turn mowers

Speciality Attachments

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

Mechanical Trade Certificate

Previous experience of engine overhauls and major repairs including electrical, hydraulic and diagnostic skills

A current and valid driver's licence

A mature attitude and logical and methodical approach to your work which will enable you to work through problems in both a workshop and field environment

Possession of high-risk work tickets and/or licences would be highly regarded
