As a SmartComms Developer , you’ll join our technology products and services division, helping deliver resilient and innovative technology at scale. In this role, you’ll uplift coding standards and develop clean, maintainable, and extensible code. You’ll also work across the full lifecycle of Smart Communications applications - designing, developing, testing, and debugging solutions within an agile environment.

This is a permanent role, offers a flexible hybrid work model and open for the location - Gadigal Country (Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne) , Meanjin (Brisbane).

What You'll Do

• Improve coding practices and enhance source code development standards.


• Design, develop, and maintain clean, readable, and scalable code.


• Participate in the design, development, testing, and debugging of Smart Communications applications.


• Apply agile delivery practices to build robust and reliable solutions.


• Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering excellence across the team

What You'll Bring

• Hands on experience in smartcomm modules like advance template designer, Data modeler and Web Editor.


• Experience in Java development in a professional environment preferred.


• Hands on experience with template authoring, recognizing common graphical elements, information blocks, layouts, stylesets, variable data requirements and functional similarity


• Good technical knowledge in creating Simple, Scriptable Batch Config/Template Selector and Output Configurations for post processing


• Design and develop code that is clean, understandable, maintainable and extensible.


• Designing and developing documents based on the business requirements.


• Knowledge about Smart Communication API's


• Design, develop and implement test plans to accurately test the application code, functions, modules and program.
