Echt Apparel Pty Ltd (ECHT) is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our young, dynamic team! The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for supporting, developing and implementing our organisation's social media strategy. Working closely with the marketing team, you will contribute to a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with business goals, fosters community engagement, and enhances brand visibility. The role requires a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for growing a brand via various social media channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation and Curation: Assist in creating and curating engaging and relevant content for social media platforms. Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain a content calendar (Marketing Sprint Sheet), accurate documentation, ensuring consistent and timely posting.
  • Community Engagement: Actively engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions to build positive relationships. Identify and promote user-generated content that aligns with the brand's values.
  • Social Media Management: Account Maintenance: Manage and maintain social media accounts, ensuring brand consistency and compliance with platform guidelines. Stay informed about social media trends, tools, and features, and implement them appropriately.
  • Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns to promote products, events, and initiatives. Work closely with the marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging across various marketing channels.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyse key social media metrics, such as engagement, reach, click through rates and conversion rates. Prepare monthly reports/major post campaign analysis reports with insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Audience Growth: Implement strategies to reach and engage new followers across social media platforms. Collaborate on promotions and activities to attract and retain a broader audience
  • Social Media Tools: Utilise social media management tools for scheduling posts, monitoring analytics, and managing social media activities efficiently.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with content creators, designers, and other team members to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach. Work in alignment with the overall brand strategy and marketing goals.
  • Platform-Specific Expertise: Have a deep understanding of each social media platform's nuances, algorithms, and best practices. Optimise content for each platform to maximise reach and engagement.
  • Moderation: Moderate community pages and ensure a positive online environment by addressing and resolving issues promptly.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in social media.
  • Influencer Collaboration & management: Collaborate with influencers to extend the brand's reach and foster partnerships that align with the brand. Monitor and analyse the prospecting and tracking of influencers and content creators, evaluating factors such as engagement rates, view rates, their content performance and status. Manage budgets given to influencer strategy

 

Key Selection Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• Proven experience in a Social Media Marketing role (min 1 year experience).

• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.

• Proficient in social media management tools and analytics.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas.

• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

• Familiarity with graphic design tools and basic video editing is a plus
