Software Developer - Trade Operations & Risk Systems

Drive and enhance critical trading operations infrastructure supporting reconciliation, clearing, regulatory reporting, data pipelines, and cloud environments while ensuring data integrity, automation, operational stability, and scalable growth.

What You'll Do:

Take ownership of the systems that underpin trading operations, reconciliation, clearing, regulatory reporting, fund administration, and risk data management. You'll improve, automate, and support a diverse technology environment while ensuring operational resilience and regulatory compliance.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

1. Managing trade reconciliation processes across multiple brokers and counterparties.
2. Supporting clearing operations across futures, equities, and foreign exchange markets.
3. Maintaining data integrity within critical PostgreSQL databases.
4. Developing and enhancing ETL workflows and data pipelines.
5. Monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving distributed systems and infrastructure.
6. Delivering regulatory reporting solutions and supporting compliance requirements.
7. Coordinating with fund administrators, brokers, operations teams, and trading stakeholders globally.
8. Managing containerized deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based services.
9. Documenting, stabilizing, and modernizing existing applications and operational processes.

About You:

1. Extensive experience supporting financial operations or trading environments.
2. Strong understanding of reconciliation, clearing, and regulatory reporting processes.
3. Proven expertise with Kafka, PostgreSQL, Docker, and CI/CD practices.
4. Comfortable troubleshooting complex distributed systems and data pipelines.
5. Skilled at managing relationships across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. Capable of navigating and supporting multi-language codebases.
7. Experienced working within fast-paced, highly regulated environments.
