Your new role You will manage a varied portfolio of residential property matters across ACT and NSW. This includes handling sales, purchases, off-the-plan transactions, building contracts and property transfers from initial instruction through to completion. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:• Reviewing and drafting documentation associated with property transactions. • Identifying risks and advising clients clearly and confidently. • Coordinating with agents, lenders and other external parties to progress matters smoothly. • Staying up to date with changes in legislation and conveyancing processes. • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all work meets compliance requirements. • Contributing to a collaborative team environment and supporting junior staff where required.
What you'll need to succeed You will bring:• A current practising certificate (or eligibility), or qualifications as a licensed conveyancer, or recent law graduate ready for admission. • An understanding of residential conveyancing, ideally with some practical experience. • Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent client service. • High attention to detail, good organisation and the ability to work well in a busy environment. • A proactive attitude and willingness to continue developing your expertise. • Familiarity with digital conveyancing tools, including PEXA and practice management systems (advantageous). • A collaborative mindset and strong team values.
