Your new role As the Solution Architect - Azure Integration Services, you will lead the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise integration solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. In this senior subject-matter-expert role, you will:
Architect end-to-end integration solutions using Azure Integration Services (AIS), Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, and event-driven designs.
Drive API-first principles and ensure secure, governed, and consistent API consumption and publication.
Develop enterprise integration patterns, interface specifications, system messaging flows, and architectural artefacts using TOGAF/BDAT methodologies.
Partner with IT leaders, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate strategic requirements into actionable architecture.
Lead and facilitate workshops, architecture reviews, and solution design activities.
Ensure all integration solutions align with cybersecurity, compliance, and data governance standards.
Provide hands-on support, technical oversight, and contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise architecture frameworks.
Operate autonomously, identifying risks, dependencies, and designing solutions for complex integration challenges.
What you'll need to succeed Deep hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, and enterprise integration architectures.
Strong knowledge of integration patterns, messaging, and cloud-native design.
Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality architectural artefacts, reference designs, and reusable patterns.
Experience applying TOGAF or similar architecture methodologies.
Strong capability to engage stakeholders, run workshops, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
A proven track record delivering integration solutions in complex, governed, or regulated environments.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance requirements.
Ability to work autonomously and manage end-to-end architectural ownership.
