Solution Architect - Urgent Hiring

2 Year fixed term with potential extension opportunity

80 hours per fortnight with a monthly ADO

Salary base range $119K -$131K (based on relevant experience) + Super & 5 weeks annual leave

About the role

Grampians Health has an exciting opportunity in the Information Technology department for a Solution Architect to join our busy team due to Digital Transformation.

This role will ensure that the day-to-day operations of systems, servers and related infrastructure works reliably and securely to provide efficient and consistent delivery of ICT support services. This role requires the incumbent to develop, maintain, support, and optimise key functional areas, particularly server infrastructure, cloud infrastructure and integrations along with the day-to-day management of 3rd level IT systems & integration support staff, and supervision of technical operational support teams. The role will provide technical management of all operational aspects of the team to ensure success and timely resolution of incidents and service requests along with ensuing technical components of project work are completed to quality standards and balance the workload of the team.

Working with IT Management Team, the Solution Architect will provide advice on technical aspects of solution development and integration (including requests for changes, deviations from specifications, etc.) and ensure that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices (including security) are applied correctly. Additionally, contribute to the improvement of processes and documentation to ensure the systems team delivers operational excellence.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect on large-scale technology projects preferably with expertise in SAP Success Factor, healthcare IT projects or Similar systems. Experience in some or all of the following will ensure you succeed in this role:

• Modern architecture patterns, cloud technologies, and software development practices
• Experience working with diverse stakeholder group in a healthcare facility.
• Experience and working knowledge of Patient Administration System (PAS), Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and / or digital interoperability within a large, complex, and distributed healthcare environment.
• Experience in applying technology solutions to business problems proactively identifying improvement opportunities to add value to business operations.
• Experience in HR technology, including HRIS, talent management, and workforce planning.
• Technical Skills and understanding of few of the below areas:
  • Microsoft Windows Server systems administration.
  • Server Virtualisation
  • Integration Systems (Rhapsody highly regarded)
  • Robotic Process Automation
  • Application Architecture
  • DevOps
