Solutions Architect Role - Work Force Management Vertical

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect to join our technology team, overseeing Wageloch and Easy Employer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing a scalable and efficient system architecture that supports the business goals and technological needs of both organizations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our software systems are robust, maintainable, and capable of supporting future growth and technological advancements.

The successful candidate can be based anywhere in Australia, working in a remote work model!  

What your day will look like:

• Strategic System Design: Develop an architectural vision that aligns with the business goals of leveraging any synergies between Wageloch and Easy Employer. Analyze existing architecture and design a comprehensive architecture plan. 
• Technology Selection and Standardization: Evaluate and recommend technologies and platforms that best support the needs of both businesses. Establish standards for development practices, data management, and security protocols. 
• Architectural Governance: Provide ongoing architectural governance to ensure adherence to established guidelines and principles and development processes. 
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clarity in architectural strategies and decisions. Translate complex technical details into business-friendly language. 
• Innovation and Adaptation: Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends that could impact or benefit the organization's architecture. Recommend innovative solutions that enhance business value and technological efficiency. 
• Software Development: Creation and delivery of prototypes in PHP and .Net and well as working with teams (Pair coding etc.) to assist them in the correct delivery of architectural designs.     

About You:

• At least a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is essential
• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect with a strong portfolio of successful system integration and architectural design
• Proven senior-level software development experience
• Extensive knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices
• Experience in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and its application in complex software projects. Familiarity with creating and managing bounded contexts and implementing ubiquitous language within an enterprise environment
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS) components
• Strong understanding of database management, data integration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and interact effectively with stakeholders
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is essential
• Legally authorized to work in Australia

Nice to Have: 

• Certifications in relevant technologies or architectural frameworks (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
