Solutions Engineer - Networking (12-Month Contract) | Chatswood, Sydney Your new company
Our client is a leading technology solutions provider known for delivering cutting-edge enterprise networking and infrastructure solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients. With a strong focus on innovation across cloud, networking, and security, they partner with global vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and HPE Aruba to design scalable and future-ready digital environments. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their Sydney-based team.

Your new role
As a Solutions Engineer, you will act as the technical bridge between clients, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.

• Design end-to-end enterprise network solutions (Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, routing/switching, security)
• Develop HLDs, LLDs, and Bills of Materials (BoMs)
• Support RFP/RFI responses with technically sound proposals
• Deliver client presentations, workshops, demos, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
• Collaborate with sales and internal teams on solution positioning and pricing
• Contribute to cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and optional storage integration

What you'll need to succeed

• 3-5 years of experience in enterprise networking design and deployment
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, and SD-WAN
• Hands-on experience with vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or Fortinet
• Exposure to cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure ExpressRoute/Direct Connect)
• Understanding of network security (firewalls, Zero Trust, NAC)
• Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills
• Certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP highly desirable
• Exposure to storage technologies (NetApp, Dell EMC, Pure Storage) is a plus
