About the role
Join our Medical Imaging team as a Sonographer supporting the delivery and management of a 24/7 Ultrasound service. As a Grade 4 Sonographer, you will provide expert ultrasound services across multiple imaging sites. In this role, you will support the delivery of a high-quality, patient-centred ultrasound service while contributing to the effective operation of the department’s 24/7 service. As a recognised expert practitioner, you will work collaboratively with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams, providing advanced clinical expertise and supporting excellence in diagnostic imaging and patient care.
As a Grade 3 Sonographer, you will be recognised as a competent practitioner in ultrasound, demonstrating strong clinical expertise and the ability to work independently. In this role, you will operate a range of ultrasound equipment contribute to a rotating roster with on-call, overtime and shift requirements, and perform imaging across all Barwon Health sites. The option for Sonographers with a current radiation license who are interested in maintaining skills and contributing to the radiographer roster can also be considered.
