As the Sourcing Administrator, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of non-food sourcing activities, including processing purchase orders and invoices. In close collaboration with the Engineering and Automation team, you will be supporting procurement processes, supplier engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives in our fulfilment centre located in Altona North (VIC 3025).
This position is a fixed term maternity leave cover until May 2025, supporting the team on a part-time basis (3 days per week).
Your role:
- Assist in category management for non-food items, including resolving supplier shortages/rejections.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing purchase orders.
- Verify and approve invoices and promptly resolve invoice related issues.
- Liaise with internal teams to communicate updates, gather feedback, and maintain information on Confluence.
- Support project and tender management, including conducting product testing and managing pricing tenders.
- Address delivery issues, maintain accurate records for traceability, and analyse order quantities based on demand and stock on hand.
This is you
- Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or a related field.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting timelines.
- Prior experience with Continia and NAV for invoice processing preferred.
- Experience with category management and supplier engagement preferred.
