We are on a hunt for a Sous Chef to join our vibrant team.
 

About the role

As the Sous Chef, you will be working along side with our Executive Chef and Venue manager to ensure smooth operation.

• Driving development and performance in the kitchen team
• Driving and maintaining a positive and supportive work culture
• Developing the menu in alignment with cafe values
• Delivering high quality & delicious products to our guests  
• Working with the FOH team and continually driving service standards
• Ensuring the consistent and effective execution of kitchen service at all times
• Ensuring that the highest Health & Safety standards are upheld in the venue
• Driving and delivering on venue financials to maintain profitability of the restaurant

About you

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience in a similar role
• A passion for breakfast trade with the ability to create incredible and delicious dishes 
• A genuine passion for teaching and educating, and a proven track record of developing chefs around you
• A passion for sustainability and sustainable practices within your department
• An engaging and supportive nature, with outstanding leadership and motivational skills
• A hands on attitude - this is a lead from the front role, not an administrative role
• Experience which demonstrates you can not only bring the right ethos, but also the ability to manage and lead a large operation
• Ability to manage a high volume pass, and remain calm and composed while doing so
