An exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef  to join the kitchen team at The Hedland Hotel.

Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, you will demonstrate culinary flair and genuine passion for the industry along with an undeniable pride for creating and delivering consistent, high-quality produce and contribute in repositioning the Hedland Hotel to become the Pilbara’s top food and beverage offering.

Responsibilities:

• In the absence of the Executive Chef, assume the leadership and management responsibilities of the kitchen.
• Demonstrate your proven experience as a Sous Chef.
• Prepare and present quality dishes in line with our standards and product imagery.
• Take pride in consistently presenting quality offerings.
• Showcase your experience with high quality functions, banqueting menu planning and operations.
• Drive a positive culture through leadership and consistency in personal performance.
• Strong organisational skills to manage a medium sized team.
• Assist with the induction and training of new kitchen staff.
