Sous Chef - Join a Market Leader

Pan Pacific Melbourne are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join and lead our culinary team!

The successful candidate will:

• Be responsible for production and service throughout our multiple dining outlets
• Be adaptable and driven to produce high quality dishes with a diverse skill set 
• Ensure a high level of attention and care to special requests and food allergies
• Leading by example, teaching and progressing junior staff members
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special events, banquets and catering functions
• Follow food hygiene regulations at all times
• Follow hotel policies and procedures at all times

Ideally you will have:

• A genuine passion for food
• Relevant qualifications/certificates in Cookery (Certificate III or equivalent), HACCP and local Food Safety Handling & Hygiene
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication skills 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, kitchen environment. A La Carte experience preferred
• Ability to work productively and safely at all times with a focus on quality control
• Experience with stock ordering & stocktaking 
• The flexibility to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
