Sous Chef - Professional Development Opportunities

We are looking for a full-time Sous chef to join our team at the Uraidla Hotel, located in the stunning Adelaide Hills.

As the Sous chef at our hotel, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and create delicious dishes using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. You'll work closely assisting the Head Chef & kitchen team to prepare meals that delight our guests and keep them coming back for more.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking meals according to menu and dietary requirements
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
• Ordering and managing inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients
• Working collaboratively with the Head Chef to ensure quality and consistency of meals
• Assisting with menu development and daily specials

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a chef
• A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow in your role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
