Are you passionate about the flavours of Southern France, where seafood takes center stage? Bistro Elba, located in the picturesque setting of Sorrento, is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our team dedicated to bringing the essence of Southern French cuisine to life.

Position: Sous Chef 

Location: Bistro Elba, Sorrento 

Schedule: Four-day-a-week roster

Requirements:

  • Exceptional knife skills and proficiency in French culinary techniques.

  • Prior experience in a similar role within a seafood-focused establishment preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Head Chef to execute the vision of Bistro Elba through Southern French-inspired dishes with a seafood focus.
  • Prepare and cook seafood dishes to perfection, ensuring consistency and quality with every plate.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and refine menu offerings, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Mentor and support junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
