We are searching for an ambitious Sous Chef Steak & Oyster Co- Fixed Term- Full Time to join our all-star team at West Hq in Rooty Hill New South Wales

Do you have a passion for creating delicious cuisine? Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity? If so, we want to hear from you!    We have a fixed term position available for a Sous Chef to lead Steak & Oyster Co West HQ. This role will be required from 10 June 2024 through to 22 September 2024.     Who's right for the job? Someone with experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent leadership position.  A person with passion for making good food. You will need to be a helpful member of the team with a strong work ethic. A leader who can mentor and guide junior staff. You will be a true professional, who understands the importance of cooking steak to the customers desired level and you will take pride in delivering a consistently high level.   Someone who doesn’t mind working a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays is a must.     What do you need to be considered? You must be an experienced Sous Chef or equivalent Extensive experience in the Grill Section Be able to work under pressure, in a heated environment Ability to lead the team to ensure quality, standards and cleanliness are met and exceeded Ability to coach and mentor junior staff Excellent attitude Ability to effectively lead a team to provide a consistent product Ability to cope well under pressure to ensure guests food expectations are exceeded Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Willing to work a range of shifts including lunch and dinner as required Experience in menu selection/creation is advantageous Available to work across any of the 7 days a week including nights, weekends and public holidays Full Australian working rights   Applications close 5pm, 10 May 2024.     Apply Now!     To learn more about West HQ visit  www.westhq.com.au
