Job Description - Sparkle, relax, & connect share the joy of Diamond Dotz, Social Volunteer

Sparkle, relax, and connect — share the joy of Diamond Dotz with someone who loves to create.

We are seeking a volunteer with a passion to give back in their community of South West Sydney by visiting an elderly lady living in her own home. Our client loves to spend time creating diamond dot art canvases, has a dog who brings her a lot of joy and would enjoy meeting someone to chat with over a cuppa.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements

18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare •

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for 30 minutes to one hour between Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
