Your Role as a Specialist - Corporate Partnerships

In this role you will play a hands-on role in growing our impact across Queensland. As the Specialist - Corporate Partnerships, you’ll build and manage high-value corporate relationships, working closely with both new and existing partners to create strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.

Your work will directly contribute to achieving fundraising targets while helping expand WMQ’s corporate fundraising capability and long-term reach. Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Growing and managing a portfolio of corporate partnerships that deliver strong fundraising outcomes and long-term value.

• Building new, profitable corporate partnerships while strengthening and expanding existing relationships.

• Achieving agreed fundraising revenue targets and contribute directly to the success of WMQ’s fundraising program.

• Creating engaging partnership opportunities across sponsorships, workplace giving, volunteering, and strategic collaborations.

• Working closely with the Fundraising team and internal stakeholders to deliver impactful campaigns and shared goals.

• Actively networking and representing Wesley Mission Queensland to raise awareness and generate new partnership opportunities.

• Tracking partnership performance and opportunities using CRM systems, providing clear insights and updates to leadership.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in fundraising, relationship management or business development is highly regarded.

• Highly developed interpersonal communication skills, including strong networking and influencing skills.

• Willingness to travel to clients to build and manage relationships face to face in corporate environments.

Essential Requirements

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)

• Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
