Specialist Talent Acquisition

We're looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team on a permanent basis. 

This is an opportunity for an experienced recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and enjoys managing a diverse recruitment portfolio. 

Working closely with hiring managers, operational leaders and our broader recruitment team, you will play a key role in attracting and securing quality talent while providing a strong recruitment experience for both candidates and stakeholders. 

About the role 

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will take ownership of recruitment activity across your portfolio, working collaboratively with hiring leaders and our mobilisation team. 

You will be responsible for:

  Managing recruitment across a diverse portfolio of roles and disciplines 

  
  

• 
  

  Partnering with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and recruitment priorities 

  
  

• 
  

  Developing targeted sourcing strategies for high-volume, specialist and hard-to-fill vacancies 

  
  

• 
  

  Proactively identifying and engaging talent through platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK and Indeed 

  
  

• 
  

  Screening, interviewing and assessing candidates against role requirements 

  
  

• 
  

  Managing multiple vacancies and recruitment campaigns simultaneously 

  
  

• 
  

  Building proactive talent pipelines to support current and future workforce requirements 

  
  

• 
  

  Providing recruitment advice, market insights and regular updates to stakeholders 

  
  

• 
  

  Working collaboratively with our Mobilisation Coordinators to ensure a seamless handover of successful candidates 

  
  

• 
  

  Contributing to recruitment initiatives, workforce planning and continuous improvement 

  
  

About you 

You will be an experienced recruitment professional who is comfortable working across different roles, disciplines and stakeholder groups. 

Ideally, you will bring: 

• 
  

  Extensive recruitment experience across a diverse portfolio of roles 

  
  

• 
  

  Experience working within mining, resources, construction, engineering or another fast-paced operational environment 

  
  

• 
  

  Strong proactive sourcing and talent-pipelining capability 

  
  

• 
  

  Experience managing both volume recruitment campaigns and specialist vacancies 

  
  

• 
  

  Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to build trusted relationships with hiring and operational leaders 

  
  

• 
  

  The ability to prioritise and manage a busy recruitment portfolio 

  
  

• 
  

  A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach 

  
  

• 
  

  Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms 

  
  

• 
  

  Strong communication and candidate management skills 

  
  

• 
  

  A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively as part of a broader recruitment team
