Position Description - State Growth Manager

About the role:

To identify quality broker businesses that will thrive within our culture and embrace the support and ambition our team has to exceed their expectations by providing them with solutions that deliver on four key promises:

  1. Being Safe,
  2. Save Time
  3. Find and Keep Clients
  4. Grow My Business

To successfully sign 30 new broker businesses per year that meet specific performance and quality requirements.

  • Each recruit complies to our “Statement of Minimum Expectations” and “Compliance Standards”
  • Each new business produces minimum revenue benchmarks across all products and services
  • To grow, engage and nurture a talent pipeline of quality brokers and business owners by working with our marketing and wider corporate team leveraging our tools and assets and satisfy new Best Interest Duty requirements

 

Outcomes:

  • Successfully recruit a minimum of 10 new business with a target of 30 in one year and grow recruitment revenue 
  • Meet with a minimum of 10 new brokers per week (including events)
  • Run one prospecting event per month
  • Manage and nurture a pipeline via HubSpot using all marketing assets available to ensure pipeline activity is generating 10 new prospects and full attendance at monthly prospecting events
  • Be able to adequately present our LMG solutions that will address a brokering business’s challenges which include
  • Profit calculator to determine how much they could grow their business
  • Subscription services that will enable them to save time
  • Referral partner development plans that enable them to find new clients
  • Engagement tools that allow them to retain their existing clients
  • MyCRM showcase to highlight how our proprietary system can grow their business and keep them and their clients safe
  • Qualify and ensure all new business meet our compliance standards to ensure they and their clients are safe
  • Comply with all regulatory frameworks we provide
  • Support in the onboarding checklist including references and quality standards
  • Are able to represent and package products that provide clients with the best and most appropriate solutions
  • Represent LMG at various aggregator/industry events and networking events in a way that exemplifies our culture and values
  • Work with other teams including Broker Success Managers and corporate operations to maximise revenue and strategic value
  • Keep up to date and share with the business market and industry trends, insights and opportunities
  • Build trust and long term relationship with leading brokers and lenders in the industry

 

To succeed in this role you will bring with you:

Skills:

  • Proficient in G-suite
  • Fluent Communication in person, on the phone and in email
  • Strong sales acumen
  • Stakeholder management
  • Understanding of financial statements
  • Understanding of all lines of lending
  • Qualifications:
  • Drivers Licence
  • Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking
  • Degree Qualified desirable but not essential

 

Experience:

  • Min 3 years’ experience in a similar road-based sales role
  • Strong industry knowledge
  • Financial services experience highly desired
  • Residential/Commercial lending or related discipline
  • Demonstrated and proven sales results
