State On Premise Manager (Victoria & Tasmania)

We are seeking an State On Premise Manager to lead our efforts in Victoria and Tasmania, driving brand development and sales growth in the vibrant on-premise market.

Role Overview:

As the State On Premise Manager for Victoria and Tasmania, you will be instrumental in maximizing on-premise volume and advancing brand presence in the region. Your responsibilities include leading a high-performing sales team, optimizing resources, and ensuring alignment with our business plan objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivating South Ave On Premise Culture:
  • Embody and promote the South Ave On Premise Culture within the sales team and network.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, upholding premium brand values and image standards.
• Sales Team Leadership and Development:
  • Train and develop the sales team to ensure ongoing performance improvement.
  • Conduct on-the-job coaching and training sessions to capitalize on team strengths.
• Regional Management and Budget Oversight:
  • Own and manage the State On Premise budget in line with national business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and competitor insights.
• Execution of Marketing Strategy:
  • Collaborate with the National Marketing Manager to develop and implement regional marketing strategies.
• Event Engagement and Partnership Building:
  • Ensure premium activation at third-party and South Ave events.
  • Foster relationships with key On Premise partners to drive growth and brand visibility.
• Training and Talent Acquisition:
  • Develop and execute a regional training plan for the sales team.
  • Identify and recruit top sales talent through effective screening and interview processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (business, marketing, or related field).
• Proven sales and management experience, particularly in the On Premise beverage industry.
• Strong industry knowledge, contacts, and understanding of consumer behavior.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and sales-related software.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to navigate markets, analyze data, and drive strategic decision-making.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region.
