Job Description
Stan Business (part of the Nine Entertainment Co network) is the commercial powerhouse behind Australia’s leading local streaming service. We are redefining how industries, from local pubs and clubs to mining camps and aged care, use live sport and world class entertainment to drive their success.
We are looking for a high octane, field based Business Sales Manager to disrupt the status quo. You will not just be selling a service; you will be leveraging exclusive rights to a massive catalogue of world class sports and general entertainment. From the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, Tennis Grand Slams and global motorsport, to the pinnacle of rugby, including Super Rugby, Six Nations, Wallabies and Wallaroos Tests, and the monumental 2027 Rugby World Cup on home soil. Combined with award winning Stan Originals, blockbuster movies, binge worthy TV series and exclusive documentaries, you will build long term partnerships that actively boost your clients' foot traffic and revenue.
What You Will Do
Hunt and Grow: Achieve commercial sales targets through high velocity prospecting, lead generation and relentless territory hunting.
Own the Field: Autonomously manage a workflow that is 95% field based, with disciplined journey planning and consistent face to face engagements.
Build Strategic Partnerships: Move beyond selling to become a preferred supplier, delivering bespoke, data driven business proposals.
Retain and Maximise: Actively manage key accounts to grow margins while deploying creative strategies to keep churn to an absolute minimum.
Provide Market Intelligence: Deliver sharp analysis on market trends, state performance and competitor tactics directly to the National Business Manager.
What You Bring
An Established Network: Existing, respected connections with Hoteliers, Club Managers and industry stakeholders are a mandatory “must have” for this role.
The Hunter Mentality: 5 or more years of proven success in B2B development and field sales, specifically within the on premise, sports or hospitality industries.
Elite Influence: Masterful negotiation skills with the ability to command a room, whether in a front bar meeting or a boardroom presentation.
Commercial Acumen: The ability to translate data and industry insights into a compelling business case for our premium content suite.
Ready for the Road: A relentless, highly energetic professional with a valid driver’s licence, ready to make a visible impact every day.
